About the role

As the Founding Business Development Representative for Kimchi (https://kimchi.dev/) at Cast AI, you will build the outbound engine for a new enterprise AI product. Your mission is to identify high-value opportunities, create meaningful first conversations with technical and business buyers, and use AI and automation to develop a scalable pipeline-generation motion across Europe.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated success in outbound BDR/SDR work within B2B SaaS, ideally selling developer tools, DevOps, data, AI or application-platform products.
• Strong interest and practical knowledge of AI sales tools, automation and workflow design. You know how to use AI to improve research, personalisation, sequencing and outbound volume.
• Ability to understand a complex enterprise AI product quickly and turn it into clear, relevant messaging for technical and business buyers.
• Strong account research, cold calling, personalised email and LinkedIn outreach skills.
• Comfortable building and owning outbound sequences, testing messaging and improving the process rather than following a fixed playbook.
• Detail-oriented with disciplined CRM hygiene, pipeline management and follow-up.
• Entrepreneurial, resourceful and accountable. This is a founding role, so you need to make decisions, spot gaps and create solutions from day one.
• Resilient, coachable and able to maintain momentum through rejection and ambiguity.
• Fluent English is essential. French is strongly preferred; German is a strong alternative.

Nice to have:

• Experience selling to software engineering, product, data, AI, developer-tool or application-platform buyers.
• Familiarity with AI, LLM, data or developer tooling markets.
• Experience using AI sales tools, automation platforms or workflow builders to improve research, personalisation or outbound execution.
• Previous experience in an early-stage SaaS company or a founding commercial role.
• French or German language skills in addition to English.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a target-account strategy for Kimchi across the European market.
• Research target accounts, relevant AI initiatives, buying signals and decision-makers using LinkedIn, Clay, Apollo and other prospecting tools.
• Create and run high-quality outbound campaigns across email, calls and LinkedIn, tailored to technical and business buyers.
• Use AI and automation to improve account research, personalisation, sequence design and outbound scale.
• Own and continuously improve outreach sequences, messaging, subject lines, cadences and value propositions based on results.
• Work closely with the Founding AE and VP EMEA on territory plans, account lists, ICP refinement and opportunity qualification.
• Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene, tracking activity, conversations, meetings and opportunity outcomes.
• Build working knowledge of Kimchi’s AI/LLM use cases, competitive landscape, product changes and customer proof points.
• Feed market insight, objections and messaging learnings back to Sales, Product and Marketing to help develop the Kimchi go-to-market motion.
