CAST AI: Now Available for Users of Red Hat OpenShift on AWS

As part of a new collaboration with Red Hat, we’re integrating CAST AI more seamlessly into the Red Hat OpenShift ecosystem, providing enhanced IT infrastructure cost monitoring, cost optimization recommendations, and essential security performance insights, all via an intuitive user-friendly dashboard.

Cost optimization for Red Hat Openshift.

Additionally, CAST AI is now certified and listed on the Red Hat Ecosystem Catalog.

For Red Hat OpenShift users on AWS, this means you can connect your Red Hat OpenShift clusters to CAST AI, providing a detailed cost breakdown per cluster, per namespace and per workload. You now have unparalleled visibility into your AWS cloud spend for Red Hat OpenShift, as well as a number of other strategic benefits such as the ability to identify and eliminate unnecessary expenses from under utilized resources and reserved instances, and leveraging historical data and usage patterns to provide insights into future capacity planning.

“Red Hat is pleased to collaborate with partners such as CAST AI to support advanced capabilities on Red Hat OpenShift to provide better solutions to customers. By working with CAST AI to test and certify its cost monitoring optimization solutions on Red Hat OpenShift, customers can more easily control expenses and IT infrastructure for hybrid and multicloud environments with greater confidence,” commented Mark Longwell, director, Hybrid Cloud Platforms, Red Hat.

“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Red Hat, and to provide CAST AI as an intelligent analysis, security and optimization solution. Our customers typically save over 60 percent on their cloud bills on average, and now we’re extending those savings to Red Hat OpenShift users as well.’ said Laurent Gil, Co-Founder and CPO at CAST AI.

Getting Started with Optimizing Your Infrastructure

Red Hat Openshift users on AWS can onboard a cluster in minutes. Signup into the CAST AI platform and connect your cluster in a read-only mode. A CAST AI agent will analyze your cluster configuration, showing your current compute costs, as well as how much you would save with an optimal configuration.

Let’s see how this works, with a demo on how to onboard OpenShift on Amazon Kubernetes cluster:

If you would like an in-person consultation or to learn more about CAST AI features and capabilities, cost monitoring and savings, you can meet us at the Red Hat booth (Hall 2, 2F30) at MWC Barcelona https://www.mwcbarcelona.com
